Prince Adenle is presently the Chairman of Mak Mera Upstream (Nigeria) Limited, a REIN company.

Prince Adenle, until recently (between 1978 and 2012) held several positions at the Department of Petroleum Resources, Ministry of Petroleum Resources in Nigeria, retiring as the Deputy Director, responsible for Basinal Assessment, Lease Administration, States Production Attribution, Nigerian Local Content, Expatriate Quota and Servicom.

Prior to then, he had worked as Petroleum Engineer at Chevron, Japan Oil and several others. He graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1977 with B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering and holds several Professional Certifications in various aspects of Petroleum Operation.
