Wale was a technology consultant to Merill Lynch, UBS and Barclays Capital in the City of London.

Graduated with first class honours in Computer Science and Accounting from Ogun State University, Nigeria, after which he received British Chevening Scholarship to study at University of Leeds, United Kingdom where he graduated with Master of Science in Distributed Multimedia Systems.
